Pre-school, Reception & Year 1 Funbox Jo sessions

On Wednesday afternoons, we will be joined by Funbox Jo for a fun-filled session combining music, movement and signing.
During each session, the children will learn Signalong signs alongside familiar and exciting songs. This is a wonderful way to encourage children’s spoken language, communication and confidence, while also supporting their health and well-being.
Most importantly, the sessions are all about having lots of fun, singing, moving and learning together!
Sounds like a wonderful Wednesday afternoon! Combining Signalong signs with familiar songs is such a lovely way to get the little ones singing and moving while they learn. It reminds me of our little spin-the-wheel game at home before class — I put together a free name wheel at https://wheelnames.org and the kids love watching it spin to pick a song or a dance move. Hope Funbox Jo’s sessions are a big hit with everyone!
I haven’t come across Funbox Jo sessions before, but they sound like a creative and engaging way to bring people together. I remember a similar group activity in college that helped me step out of my shell during a tough semester.
