Year 6 - Autumn Two - Week 1
We have had a fabulously busy week. We began with Maths Day. We took part in a variety of maths activities and had a great time. We also introduced our new topic and all created presentation about the Ocean. The big apparatus was out in PE.

Pre-school- Autumn term 11- week 1
It has been a lovely first week back at pre-school. We have celebrated number day and took part in an Autumn walk around the school grounds. The children collected lots of twigs and leaves and we discussed what happens in Autumn. We can't wait to make our giant Autumn collage next week!

Y5 Active Maths
We spent an active maths lesson revising our work on factors and multiples. We retrieved factors of a given number, combined numbers to make multiples and experimented with organising numbers within venn diagrams.

For our Design and Technology work this half term, Y5 have been researching, designing and building their own cam mechanisms to create a Viking-themed toy. Well done, Y5, on some fantastic projects. It was great to see real perseverance, resilience, team work and problem solving skills. Well done!

Year 1 enjoying their morning break at the new snack tables. For 'Black History Day' in school, the children heard about the life and achievements of Rosa Parks. They created freeze frames of scenes from her life and learnt the actions and words to a song inspired by her - She Sat on the Bus.
