Y5 compared the water resistance of different shapes as they fell through a volume of water. By timing how long our dough shapes took to reach the bottom, we could determine which shapes showed the most water resistance.

A big thank you to all of the volunteers who came into school for our Y5 & 6 careers day. The children heard about careers in physics, law, medicine, business and even from a CSI officer! Well done, Y5 and Y6, for asking such interesting questions.

Y5 had a wonderful time at St. Peter's Science event. We all had a go at lighting and using Bunsen burners, building towers out of spaghetti and using microscopes. We also had the opportunity to show off our eco-friendly sustainable house.
