Year 1 have had a sports day practise in PE this week, we did lots of sprinting, throwing and jumping! We have written diary entries in writing this week and we also did a treasure hunt to find some tricky words.

This week, Year 1 retold the story of the Road to Emmaus from Luke's Gospel. We also said the Rosary with Year 4 as part of the month of Mary. We have been busy in our areas recapping our phonics and we have begun counting in 2s in Maths.

What a wonderful week we have had celebrating our 60th Anniversary! We started the week with a special mass in school with our friends and families followed by a look round our 'school museum'. We completed lots of fun activities in our class and finished the day on Tuesday with a wonderful showcase of songs from each decade the school has been open.
