If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they will start reception class at the start of the new school year in September 2025.

OPEN DAYS

We are holding Open Days on the 28th, 30th and 31st October 2024 each tour will consist of a maximum of 3 families, feel free to bring along your child and other family members.

Please come along and take a look around our school and meet some of the children and staff.

Admissions to our School

Wigan LA will only offer ONE school place to each child, please ensure you select St Marie's as your first choice in order to secure the best chance of being offered a place at our school. If you would like to discuss your application please do not hesitate to contact us on 01257 422975.

 

For each new September intake there are 30 places at school for Reception Year children, if 30 children or less apply for a place ALL children who apply will be offered a place, however if more than 30 children apply, places will be allocated with reference to the school's Admissions policy. In this Sunday’s Gospel, the wealthy man was looking for true happiness.

We all want to be happy, to have a sense of well-being and inner joy. Jesus reminds us that, if we want to be truly happy, wealth and possessions are not as important as following him and caring for those around us.

Harvest- Key Stage 2 walked to church

Year 6 GIFT team (GIFT = Growing in Faith Together) celebrated Harvest with collective worship. Thank you for the lovely readings and prayers children.
