Year 1-Spring 1, Week 4

This week the children have made potions with fruit, plants and herbs, just like Mary Seacole. They wrote instructions how they should be used.

The children have consolidated their learning on Basics 4 Phonics and built CCVCC words.

All children have been assessed on Basics 3 and their assessment sheet has been sent home for you look at. Any highlighted sounds need practising. If your child has no highlights, please continue reading these sounds every so often.

Higher Level 5 spellings will be sent home on Monday.
