Year 1- Spring 1- Week 4
On Monday we did a taste taste investigation as part of our science learning. We used our sense of taste to describe different food items. We also used our different senses to create some lovely sentences in our writing using adjectives. In Maths, we have been practising doubling numbers, trying to spot patterns as part of our addition and subtraction learning.

Year 1- Spring 1- Week 3
Year 1 have had a lovely week! We have been using our known facts and our knowledge of number bonds to help us to add on and complete number sentences. We have explored Balance in our PE lesson and made some lovely sequences using travelling movements to link our balances together. We also enjoyed a story from a mystery reader and asked lots of questions at the end. We are looking forward to our next visit from a mystery reader in the coming week!

We have done some excellent fairy tale writing in English and looked at teen numbers up to 20. We have shown some lovely sharing and teamwork in our areas and explored different body parts in science.
