Year 5 Wayland the Viking Visit, part 1

This morning, Y5 had a fascinating interactive workshop led by Wayland the Viking! We learned about Viking battle techniques and weapons, how to navigate a longboat in all weathers, Viking customs and beliefs, food! We watched a demonstration on how Vikings would have started fires and learnt all about the foods and materials available to them at the time.
