Year 6 - Autumn One - Week 7

We have enjoyed writing poems this week being inspired by all the poets mentioned in 'Love That Dog'. Our To Know You More Clearly topic has led us to make videos all about Baptism and what effects this celebration has on us as Christians.

We have also explored events at the end of WW2. We acted out what it would feel like to leave the Caribbean as part of the Windrush Generation - who were invited to the UK to help rebuild after the war. We created some artwork inspired by Althea McNish who was a famous artist from Trinidad.
