If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they will start reception class at the start of the new school year in September 2025.

Mid-year admissions, we have a number of places available in our Year 5 and Reception classes, please contact the school office if you are moving into the area and considering a school for your child.

Admissions to our School

Wigan LA will only offer ONE school place to each child, please ensure you select St Marie's as your first choice in order to secure the best chance of being offered a place at our school. If you would like to discuss your application please do not hesitate to contact us on 01257 422975.
For each new September intake there are 30 places at school for Reception Year children, if 30 children or less apply for a place ALL children who apply will be offered a place, however if more than 30 children apply, places will be allocated with reference to the school's Admissions policy. Cathedral Mass
